I want people to look after wildlife and environment with me and have an awareness of those that live under the sea, on land and in the air. Together we can be part of the solution not problem. Small changes make big impacts if we do this together.s
In this beautiful land, everyday the government is burning tons of garbage to spread it in our breath, food, rain, nature, etc... but in the system" what goes around comes around" and someday soon these people who's behind these crimes towards the planet they won't find a piece of bread to eat , they will bag the sky to breath, and they will stay praying for centuries to see!! The nature has promised this 💫 #dontfucktheplanet#nature#country#polution#beirut#lebanons

Chicago's Shedd Aquarium is taking a stand against and spreading awareness about SINGLE USE PLASTIC.
"Each year, an estimated 8.8 million tons—tons—of plastic winds up in the global ocean. Sea turtles choke on film bags, which they mistake for sea jellies; albatrosses feed colorful but fatal pellets to their chicks; and gray whales ingest a whole array of indigestible plastic flotsam. In fact, 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals are killed each year by plastic through ingestion, starvation, suffocation, infection, drowning, or entanglement." - Taken from Shedd's recent blog post titled "Shedding Single Use Plastics to Protect our Waters"
For Earth Day this year, Shedd challenged the Chicago community to #SheddTheStraw. Theyre encouraging folks to skip the plastic straws provided with cold beverages and cocktails, suggest paper straws at your favorite coffee house or restaurant, and if you love using straws to invest in a reusable one. There's obviously so much more to avoid when it comes to disposable plastic, but we have to start somewhere.
@312_chicago, our very first commercial client, has followed the Shedd's lead and is now carrying stainless steal straws that are available upon request (like the one pictured above). THANK YOU for being a leader, 312! Be the change you wish to see.
